Ghel's Debut

It was one whack of an adventure!

Allan and the rest of my friends picked me up at 5pm. Laughtrip in the car! Dang it. I missed those times coz we had our last roadtrip last summer pa. :( We talked about a lot of nonsense stuffs, just like the old days. Hehe. Allan asked us to keep up with the streets that we pass coz we might miss the place. And we really did. We missed our landmark! We stopped in front of Robinson's and asked to a lady what MRT station is in front of us, and she said, BONI STATION. So lumagpas kami.
So, what now? We entered a street coz we can't stop at the highways of EDSA. Naligaw na nga, baka mahuli pa. Allan was a little bit tensed already. We asked a lot of persons on how are we going to get back to Guadalupe Station because damn Edsa, there is no u-turn section to go to! They said that we have to get passed the tunnel, u-turn then turn right blahblah. And we did--after an hour. We were already at Makati by 6pm, but we arrived at the place at 7pm. Just because of that missed MRT Station. Damn it.

Ghel invited most of my closest high school friends in her party. I missed them so much! Especially Deb who's like a partyphile socialite last night. Serena, is she? Hehe.

The program was a little bit short. The food was good, and we love the place since it isn't hot in there. Hehe.

Before going home, we took a lot of pictures with everybody. We even took a paparazzi-like shot. Haha. Convincing, it is!

We left at 11:20pm, and I got home by 11:45, coz Allan was speeding up and was racing against Carlo! Damn it. But I enjoyed it. Haha. We opened the windows and our hair were everywhere. MAHANGIN. Hahaha.

We enjoyed the night. Really. Nakakamiss! Sana ganito ulit next time!

THE FRUIT OF MY LABOR

Yes! We're all cleared from all our course subjects last semester--without any fail. *Grin* Thank you Lord! Grabe, we went to a lot of hardships as this semester being the most crucial year to any engineering student. And I am just so happy for everyone. :)

This wasn't like any clearance day as before. Physics surprised us all. Mam Delena passed almost everyone whom she thinks is deserving of a pass. Awww, we super love her! Hehe.

I promise to become better next sem. We're gonna be more serious this time. Queen Majesty, your wish is our command. :P

So I guess this is the official start of our break. At last we're free from our last stress-causer-- worries. At last.. hell sem's over! Now we're in heaven! Hehe. Enjoy the break. See you soon! :)

Praise God! :)

Sunday Preaching

Super dami kong natutunan sa message kaninang umaga.

It was Pastora Helen who delivered God's Message to us this morning, and the topic was about PRIDE. She said that pride is the ultimate blocker of God's blessings to our lives. Why? Because God hates the proud.

Earlier during the preaching, pastora said that the message will all feel us guilty. Because in one way or another, we are proud, and we must admit it.

A proud person is large in his own eyes. He thinks highly of himself. He thinks that he has a good life because of his talents and abilities. He does not acknowledge God as the one who gave him all of these blessings.

Yes, abilities and talents are keys to success. It can bring you success only for a season. Why? Kasi never tayong magtatagumpay sa mga buhay natin kung hindi naman natin isinasama si God sa success na tinatamasa natin. We must never ever think highly of ourselves. We must never be the lord of our lives because that will only bring us to downfall.

But pastora said that there is also a positive kind of pride. It is when you trust yourself that you can do all things with God. It is having confidence from God. You think highly of yourself, not because of your abilities, but because you are someone whom God will always be with. It is saying that you are rich not because of your own efforts, but because of God's promise of blessings to your life. It is about submitting your whole life to God.

Why? Because when you submit and surrender your life to God, it is an act of humility because you admit that you cannot do anything without God in your life. Because you know that you are nothing without God.

Isn't that ironic? You are positively proud when you surrender to God. Well, that's Christian life. Ironic in the eyes of other people, but it's true in God's eyes.

As putting an end to a wonderful message, Pastora Helen told us this:

"Kahit ikaw pa ang pinakamayaman, pinakamaganda, pinakamatagumpay na tao sa lugar na to, wala kang maipagmamalaki sa Panginoon dahil lahat ng bagay na meron ka ay hindi mo matatamasa kung hindi dahil sa kalooban Niya."

All that I could say is "Amen!"

Reminiscing Elem...

Just got home from my friend's birthday party. I was with my gradeschool friends tonight. Had fun actually. It's been a long while since we've seen each other. Honestly, I'm not anymore updated with the latest 'bout them. The only grade school friend that I'm in constant communication with is Nina. But the rest? Nahh. No communication at all. Heh. I may have bumped into them some time ago, but really, I'm keeping up. Why? I think Deb and Ghel knows. Hehe. I never really had an enjoyable grade school experience, you know.

Okay, I was shocked with my parents' reaction about me going to this party. My dad gave me 500 pesos (thanks Lord! I'm no longer bankrupt!) after he dropped me to the place. And my mom even asked me if we could go to the mall tomorrow when I told her that I'll be going home by 9:30 instead of 9:00. Haha. Really, they've changed. But for the better. Hehe.

I've met some of my classmates that I have never ever seen since we graduated. That long. Yeah. Most of us has transformed. We've all turned to very gorgeous and handsome teenagers. Hahaha. Most of the guys are yosiboys na. Ew.

Well, a lot has changed.
I may not have the best childhood moments with them, but really, I missed them. :)

FINALLY

We're done with CCP!! And we'll pass all of it! Calculus-Computer-Physics. We will!!
Cuz next sem, we're still gonna be...

REGULAR.

"If not for your goodness, If not for your grace
I don't know where I would be today
If not for your kindness, I never could say
I'm still standing
If not for your mercy, If not for your love
I most likely would have given up
If not for your favor, I never could say
I'm still standing, But by the grace of God."

God bless you.
