The Hipster in Me

Well, no offense to the hipsters (as if they'd admit they are) but their fashion and preference have become an inside joke to me and my friends. When we hate something so mainstream, or love a movie that's totally unknown (something like an indie French movie), we'd always cry hipster. We do something a little out of the norm and we're in the Like-I-Care Club.

I listen to less popular songs. Does that make me a hipster? Hey, I search the vast youtube world for new songs, not because I'm a trying hard hippy, but I wanted to explore. Honestly. Swear. Pinky promise.

Some of my favorites since 2008. (I'd be sad if they'd go mainstream. LOL.) I'm not really sure if these are hipster songs. Haha

One of the sweetest songs I've heard. I want this played in my wedding, or some time else romantic.

"You got it so bad when the only boy you know is your dad"

Eto, mainstream na. 8million views na sa youtube! (Sorry hipsters)

Actually, I don't understand people who hate on it. I get annoyed with people who say "I used to love that song waaay before it became famous. I hate that it's now popular." WHAT. These people think they've got better taste in music because they appreciate less famous bands and songs. Ha! If you don't want your band to become popular, make them suck.

Let's just appreciate music, whichever stream they belong, and share the awesome sauce :)
