So after a year, I finally lost weight and reached my goal. You think the battle's over? Nah. Sticking to it is the most difficult part.

It's super hard to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle since I started working. I don't have time to workout on weekdays, and most of the time I'm too tired to get up and work out on weekends. Also, our canteen at work is like carbs central. So hard to resist sweets especially if you have to walk and work all day like me.

Summer 2013: 98lbs

It is an uphill battle. You have to have discipline. Whenever I am too stressed from work and get the urge to pigout during dinner, I always think about my college belly fats and the way it uncomfortably hugs my body. I look at my past pictures and think about how I never want to look like that again.

When I was younger, I always thought that I will meet a lot of people in the future that I could really connect with. Now I realized that God can only give me a few. People who are willing to share their best days with me and welcome me to their life are life's rare gems. I think I found them all.

Yet I keep on pushing them away.

I have lived for 22 years.

Two decades of living comfortably.

Two hundred sixty four months that were well taken care of.

One thousand fifty six weeks of mostly happiness and being carefree.

Eight thousand days of living with people telling me what to do and doing the tough life choices.

Now life takes away its upper hand from me and the counter to my good, comfortable life stops.
