Tadah! My face in its full-frontal nudity. No make-up, no filter, no angle, no combing, no pacute and puckered smile or whatsoever. This is me with my pimples, oily and red-patched skin, swollen eyes, chubby cheeks (nadadaan talaga sa angle pag yung mukha ko sa pictures) and all the imperfections that my Ipad's front cam can capture, and every flaw that you guys can pinpoint.

My Life on Instagram
Come on, look at that, life looks SO much prettier when presented the Instagram way. Yes it's filtered, beautified and all that, but isn't that what we want, make our life seem better than how it really is in reality?
And just like the random pictures above, my life right now is on transition and in between everything. I'm going forward and at the same time looking back on the past five years. Struggling to take one step higher while being left behind. I am moving on and wrapping up.

Sweat Like a Pig to Look Like a Fox
Ladies and gents, this was my 52kg body last December 2012. May we all take a moment of silence and ponder on it.. Are you thinking what I'm thinking? Yes, a fatty on the picture. Now can you please give me a round of applause for my confidence to wear a swimsuit with a body like that? Yes? Thanks.
Now this is my 45kg body half a year later. It's not much, but I'm just SO happy to see visible results! It's such a milestone for me that I have to blog it. Haha.
I started working out 3weeks before my graduation. My graduation dress was a white, fitting tube so I had to be slim for it! It was a bit of a crash diet for me because I tried to avoid food as much as I can and I was working out everyday, because duh I only got 3weeks to fit on that dress. I weighed 48.5kg at day 0 and by the day that I finally have to wear the dress, I was weighing 47kg.
BUT, cos there's always a but, a week after grad I started to binge! I figured that crash diet isn't gonna work for me so I changed my lifestyle. I am proud to say that I now live a healthy lifestyle. I eat small meals six times a day. I eat anything except junk foods, chocolate and fast foods. I also avoid soft drinks, powdered juice, bottled juice and all other processed drinks. I'm still doing cardio workouts at least two times a week for one hour, and 15-minute workout for my future abs. LOL.
I know, sticking to the diet is HARD. Now that I'm reviewing for the board exam my schedule became pretty hectic and studying is sucking the marrow out of me. I think working out is just like studying after all. They both need discipline, commitment and stick-to-it attitude. And they are both very rewarding in the end.
I started seeing diet as a marathon, not a sprint. Because it's not how fast I lose weight (and gain it back again), but how long could I stick to it.
I still haven't stopped my marathon for a healthy body -- and I pray that I don't have to stop it at all. It feels good to look and feel healthy inside out. It's not about being skinny but being fit. I always say this to my friends: as we get old our metabolism slows down that's why most of our parents can't get away with their flabs. They can't exercise that much too because of aging. Therefore we have our whole adulthood to spend with our fat body, so how about we enjoy our 20's being fit? ;)

My Longest Encounter with the Sun
That is me with an I-beg-you-please-extend-my-vacation face. Why do vacations seem to be more fun when its almost over? Le sigh.

The Coolest Blogger in the World
Jane Aldridge of Sea of Shoes
She's been featured in so many magazine articles and fashion sites, traveled to many places, set foot on Coco Chanel's office... and she's only eighteen. Yes my dear friends, she's just about my age. Her eccentric and very creative fashion sense has attracted thousands (perhaps millions any time soon) of readers all over the world and made her a "household" name to all aspiring fashion bloggers. Her very interesting style even made it to this lame and very generic blog of mine. Clearly my favorite blogger since 2008. High five, Sea of Shoes!

Old and New Memories
Hong Kong, photo courtesy of my Dad. I don't know if he really knows how to frame the beautiful view or the view is simply this beautiful.
My complete Harry Potter collection.
My first ever HP book was Prisoner of Azkaban, but technically that isn't the oldest among my HP books because my Sorcerer's Stone happened to be a secondhand. A friend gave his book to my cousin and my ever kind cousin gave it to me when he knew that I bought Azkaban. Thanks to him!
Look at that.. Battered and torn apart.
I flipped the pages of my Azkaban book and this letter fell on my lap. I was surprised to see Roxanne's letter. To those who do not know, Roxanne is one of our friends, who had recently passed away earlier last year.
I remember Roxanne as someone who cherishes her friends so much. She never failed to show us that she appreciates us. She used to write these notes, composed songs for our class, and even invent our "scientific names". When she left Statefields to get homeschooled, she would always come back for a visit. She always gives us some token of appreciation.
This girl was never perfect. She used to always get in trouble, but that other side of her seems vague in my memory. Because of the goodness that she showed to us while she was alive, her good side is what I remember and I will cherish. My point is, a person can choose how can he be remembered. By doing good and showing love. Life is short.

Photo of the Day: Christmas '07
Vanessa was just six and I was just sixteen. Back in the time when that polka dress of my sister still fits her body, and back when I was still slim and zit-free. Gah I can't believe my skin looked that good on pictures! Oh, those were good times. Unfortunately (or rather fortunately) our camera is broken so we can't take a Christmas '09 photo for you guys to see how much I've changed -- my zits are rather shy you know. Haha! Merry Christmas everyone! :)
P.S. This goes to the unfortunate side of not having a decent camera around: I can't show you how beautiful my HP book collection looks like now that I've finally completed the whole set! Yeah baby! Seven books right in my shelf! Awesome!

Photo of the Day: Heidy and Aldrin
A decade ago. Back when we still don't regularly brush our teeth and refuse to have an appointment with the dentist so we had to learn the hard way of dental care -- the slow decay of our teeth. Hehe.

You gotta love college!
Last week was really a very eventful one. Never thought all these can all happen within a week:
So that's it. The pictures are in Facebook. I'll upload some when I have time; hope I'll find some because life goes back to normal after this week.
P.S. I love Blogger's new post editor. It's about time they make a change. Hope they change the stinking dashboard too!
SEPTEMBER 14
A very messy and muddy get together with Debbie..
(No pictures attached. Come on ang dugyot namin nun! Hehe.)
SCL interview
Her name is Aling Minda. She is a street dweller in Espana whom we interviewed last Monday. A very humbling experience, indeed.
CHE General Assembly
Memorable quote/joke:
"Ano ang gusto niyong passing sa mga subjects niyo? Is it A: 40 na, negotiable pa. Or B: 80, o di sige, ikaw na matalino. To vote, just text the letter of your answer space the name of your prof. " And the professors bursted into laughter. HEHE.
One thing we learned that night: UST IS SO CREEPY AT 10PM ONWARDS!!!!
SEPTEMBER 17
Went to Adamson to cheer for our representative for the PICHE (Philippine Institute of Chemical Engineers) Idol. And guess what? UST won! :)
So Noel, the PICHE idol treated us all to Tapsi (a famous inuman in Dapitan) for a victory party. Had fun listening as my tipsy classmates unveil the secrets of their hearts. HEHE.
SEPTEMBER 18
It was Alom's birthday last September 15(same as debb) too. So he treated us for a dinner at Jollibee. Sobrang laughtrip ang pictures. HEHE.

Gorgeous faces from the hard drive
I figured that I have a liking of saving beautiful photos I come across from the net. Whether I like his face, her hair, the photo itself or the person him/herself, I save it. So here are some that I found in my computer.
Lee Min Ho(Minahal ko yan. HAHA), Kim Bum(CUTE;P), Patrick Dempsey(Most gorgeous doctor evurrrr), Will Smith(I like him and the picture), Chris Evans(Oh so hottttt!!), Ed Westwick(That's Ed sans the broad jawline), Channing Tatum(My JOE), Chace Crawford(He looks so manly on that picture, in contrast to most of his uhh, gayish ones) and Ryan Gosling(Love the good-natured face. And he's very much likeable. Marry me Noah).

Emma Watson(So candid with matching wind-blowing effect), Rachel Bilson (Don't you think she is so cute?), Blake Lively(that's one of the very few times we see Blake Lively as radiant, fresh and COMBED), Keira Knightley(Beautiful), Kim So Eun(she looks like a fairy there. Cute.), Song Hye Kyo(The most gorgeous Korean in my eyes), Emma Roberts(She grew up oh so fine), Demi Lovato(I love the picture), Taylor Swift(Now I know why God gave her curly hair --because she's going be too beautiful with a straight hair that it's going to be unfair for the rest of the girls in the world. :P)

Time to unwind!
Yeah. Our prelims was so stressful and so tiring that's why our block decided to have an outing as a way to unwind and bond. But it's not really an "outing" for me because it was in Kalugdan Resort, Ligas Bacoor, Cavite. Ang layo noh? Haha. Well I should be thankful anyhow because I wouldnt've been there if they went some far place else. As if my parents will allow me to swim anywhere further.
So it was last Thursay, August 20 '09 when all these happened.
So it was last Thursay, August 20 '09 when all these happened.
Started the night by eating and taking pictures. The food was delicious! Thanks to Jepay for all the preparations!
Jump shots, horror shots and whatever-you-call shots. There're a lot of scandalous shots taken. It took me all the energy to muster so that I wouldn't post them here lest I'm dead the next moment I meet Tom. Hehe.
The guys were drinking a lot that night so most of them were knocked out before dawn. They don't even know what their talking about. "Don't naked me!" "Don't shackle me!" "Sino lasheng?" Haha! Dang! It was my first time to talk to drunk men.
Well, I have a picture looking drunk (and molested. HAHA) because I accidentally fell asleep. But believe me, I was alcohol-free that time. I was the good girl in the group kasi hindi ako umiinom e. Hihi.

Packed up at 5am and went home by 6am. Honestly I barely have no idea until now how the drunken guys manage their way home.
It was a very different and new experience for me. The next time I'll be part of one,I wish I'm with the 2-3 friends :-)

ALL THE SUPERS.
I have been surfing the net all day. I've not updated myself with what's new for more than a week already. I've been exploring all these sites and I found these:
1. Super cool and super good shots! It caught my eye and I fell in love with it at a heartbeat.
Dont you think fisheye rocks?

I don't know how photographers call this kind of technique. Making the photo look old. Whatever that is. It's beautiful!

Agyness Deyn, Giselle Bundchen and Heidi Klum. I'm not a fan of their waifish figure. But I love the way they carry it as if it's the best type of figure in the world (though it's really not.)
