I have been blessed to be surrounded by awesome people for as long as I can remember. I do not remember having encountered a lot of "haters" or enemies during my entire teenage life. Prolly one or two? But it was very insignificant and short-lived; it did not even cost me a bad day. Maybe the fact that I don't give a damn about negative stuffs actually helped me on those times. I've got this "whatever, you bitch" attitude whenever someone calls me this and that. I always give them the liberty of venting out their negatives on me and I just shrug it off. Not worth my time.

But nowadays, I'm different. I feel so sensitive to what people say towards me. I don't know why :/ I'm at a situation that my 'Whatever' attitude SHOULD help but now that I need it, it's gone hiding. Fck.

I have learned that the best time to buy strength and patience is when I am weak and angry. So I'm buying a sack of strength and two and a half tons of patience. I pray that I've got enough stock to last me til the last day of 2011. Ughhh. Save me.

We Are Young.

Aaaah... Thesis.  After three sems and a summer of sticking with century egg and polyaniline,  it's now defense time. Went good and smooth baby. I felt satisfied with it. 

Ever since I was a kid, it's always a dream for me to put on those dangerous skating shoes and glide on ice like a pro. So thanks to my buddy, Vaughn, I experienced ice skating already! Haha. Now I know that it really takes a lot of blisters to be good in this sport. God, my butt still hurts right now. But really, I want to try it again :-) 

Five dudes and a girl + One night + One place. = Fun + security guard telling us to stop singing, shut up and sleep. 

Friends With Benefits

Mr. Harper: You know, my friends used to say, that when Dee Dee and I looked at each other, it was electric. And I...I let her go. I just let her go. Because I was too damn proud to tell her how I really felt about her. I'll tell you something, that I wish I knew when I was your age. And I know you've heard it a million times life is short. But let me tell you something. What this...this.....is teaching me, is that life is God damn short and you can't waste a minute of it!

Dylan: I think I messed it up. 

Mr. Harper: Fix it. 

Dylan: She won't talk to me. 

Mr. Harper: Maybe she'll listen. There's always a way. If you think, there's even a chance that she could be it. You fix it.

While I was on hibernation..

Had an awesome retreat in Calaruega. 

We ate and prayed. It was the relaxation that I was looking for.

And uhmm, I gained new friends :>

Then came our last Engineering General Assembly at Ocean Park. T'was my first and last GA, actually; which turned out to be a wee bit of fail.

And some light overnight drinking for two consecutive Friday which I don't wanna repeat anymore. 

I had the lowest moment of my life last August. But as I racked my brain for something good to blog about August, these memories made me smile. I'll choose to remember these instead :>

Net Life

Before the rise of unlimited internet surfing, do you remember what used to eat up your time? Ako hindi na.

Well, as you can see, I am a self-confessed internet junkee. And here are the sites that save my boredom every summer, hogs my free time (and study time) every semester and waste my time altogether. It’s fun, nevertheless.

1. Facebook – Of course. It’s the Social Network. I love that it’s keeping me connected to my friends and family. But I hate that it has become a flirting and gossiping platform. A short “Hi!” from someone you barely know on chat and you’re free to flirt already. Err.

2. Twitter –As they say, Facebook is for your friends. But Twitter is for the people you wish you were friends with. Stalking platform, yes you read my mind.

3. E! – This girl’s gotta keep up with what’s happening to Hollywood. Who knows, Will Smith might do a movie again. Imagine the horror if I’m not the first to know about that.

4. Sea of Shoes and The Golden Diamonds – A little exposure to fashion, here and there.

5. 9gag, College Problems and FML – Just plain funny. In my opinion, showing your humour through pictures and limited words is more challenging than saying it in front of people. But of course, there’s the sad fact of misunderstood sarcasm.

Seems like life is unimaginable without the Internet, eh?
